This is a very delayed post which was roaming in my head for a long time. I always wanted to deploy a fully functional lab for VCF on my home system to play around with API and automation. There is execellent tool VLC (VCF Lab Constructor) which will help you prepare base infrastructure and deploy VCF to play around with. But in my case, it is bit different as I am using VMware Workstation and wanted to experience bring up process. In this multi part series, I will cover how to deploy VCF and then Edge Cluster to have a functional Consolidated Management Domain.

Script to add Tag to multiple VMs
What happens if you need to add a tag to multiple Virtual Machine in vCenter server. Well one way to do is go to vCenter and add it manually by going to individual Virtual Machine. In last couple of days, I got some requests related to do some write ups on managing and configuring vSphere environment. As I was preparing for newly released VCP – DCV 2019 certification exam 2v0 – 21.19, I thought why not cover all exam objective as part of this blog series. Exam 2v0 – 21.19 covers vSphere 6.7 so we will discuss install, configure and management of vSphere 6.7 Update 1. It is very difficult to cover all exam objectives in a single blog, so I will try to cover one objective per blog. This is first part of my very long blog series covering first exam objective.
